After suspending Samir Barman, Congress to hold the longest ever march

AGARTALA, April 7 (TIWN): Congress to conduct a 9 day long march from April-18 and to continue till April 26.

Addressing a press conference Birjit Sinha said a Congress Bhawan that Pradesh Congress during Manthan Sabir held at Kailashahar it was decided that a long march will begin from Dharmanagar to Agartala and Sabroom to Agartala on April-28.

Their march will be ended on April-26 and all of the participants will join at Gandhighat placing 6 points of demands on that day.

The Dharmanagar-Agartala team will lead by Seva Dal, whereas Sabroom-Agartala team will lead by Youth Congress and NSUI.

Their demands will be :

1. CBI inquiry against Rose Valley Chit fund and demanding the compensation money for the deprived people,

2. To convert TTADC into TTAC,

3. Govt should take charge of tea gardens,

4. 10,323 teachers alternative jobs,

5. to start allowance for unemployed youths

6. To take action against BJP's increasing racial activities,

Janabedana panchayat also will be done on May-14 at Kilashar, whereas on 18th May all Tripura strike will be held.
