Agartala, Oct 3 (TIWN) Tripura will took part in the 14-day long international trade fair beginning November 14 in New Delhi, an official release said here Thursday.“In the international trade fair (November 14 to 27), the scope and possibilities to set up industries in Tripura would be highlighted,†Tripura industries and commerce minister Jitendra Chowdhury said at a meeting organised here Thursday to discuss about the preparation to join in the trade fair.
“It would also be highlighted in the trade fair about after setting up of the industries in Tripura, what facilities would be available,” the press release said as saying by the minister.
Producers across Tripura would send their products in the fair through the agencies while Tripura Forest Development and Plantation Corporation, Tripura Rehabilitation and Plantation Corporation, Handloom and Handicrafts department, Tripura Bamboo Mission, Tripura Natural Gas Corporation, Tripura Tea Development Corporation, Tripura Tourism Development Corporation and many small scale industrial units would participate in the international trade fair with their produces and task.
Mr Chowdhury said that an idea must be given through this trade fair among the people outside Tripura that the northeastern state has huge potentiality to set up a lot of industries and projects.
