AGARTALA, March 2 (TIWN): When town areas are restricted from heavy noises due to ongoing Class-12 Board Examination, CM Manik Sarkar reached Khayerpur, Old Agartala to inaugurate a school building. However, after inaugurating Pallimandal School, Khayerpur he began his long lectures to the students there pointing out the faults of Central Govt led Education Policy. Sarkar further claimed that the Central Education policy is fully responsible for the pathetic condition of Education even in Tripura. "Due to Govt's wrong Policy till day Education could not reach out the poor across the country", said CM. Sarkar however got busy with his childhood life story adding honey quoted episodes with his grandmother at Udaipur. But what Sarkar did not tell the students there is that the school where he used to study at the primary level has left without proper infrastructure.Later Sarkar gave the teachers lecture to develop education quality. He didn't forget to talk about much claimed 'highest literacy rate' of Tripura.

For every problems in Education, Sarkar was blaming the Centre but in reality  Tripura’s Education quality has been a matter of controversy so far. Even Tripura Education Minister Tapan Chakraborty also accepted the fact that more than 50 % of the teachers in Tripura are untrained.

But question which was never asked to the ruling govt of Tripura is--- Who is actually responsible for this present scenario?  According to the reports of last year HS exam, In ADC area the pass rate is 58.47 % whereas in last year it was 66.40 %.  TBSE President Mihir Sen told TIWN that due to excessive private tuition the result of rural areas are so down.

On the one hand, central govt. is expecting that every state’s students are being provided with Quality Education on the other hand the ‘Quality Education’ is a distant dream for the student of Tripura's rural schools.

Tripura’s maximum rural area based schools are suffering due to lack of teachers, insufficient infrastructure, poor mid-day-meal and above all---- studies in those schools are for name-sake.

The highest literacy rated state Tripura’s pathetic condition in Education system has put a question mark about the real utilization of ‘Right To Education’ in all over the country.
