AGARTALA, Jan 15 (TIWN): Whether the CBI inquiry will be held in Tripura or not; if held whether the long cherished dream of Trinamool, Congress will be fulfilled about CPI-M members arrest its unknown, but the Rose Valley topic has become a hot-topic for discussion in Tripura. The Rose Valley protests had become almost a forgotten history, but like swine flu it once again spread in Tripura following the arrest of Trianamool leader Tapas Paul, Sudip Banerjee’s arrest at West Bengal. Talking to TIWN, Tripura Congress MLA cum Congress President Birjit Sinha, he said that the central govt has full control over CBI inquiry. If central govt wants then it can push CBI to Tripura. TIWN further asked, ‘..then why in UPA Era Congress didn’t send CBI in Tripura?’...., Sinha replied, ‘.....Congress never bothered about Rose Valley and didn’t misuse CBI.

"Moreover in Congress era CPI-M send wrong report to centre, which now has proven as full-wrong report. Now CBI is under BJP govt, not congress’, Sinha added.

It’s worthy to mention here that Tripura’s two Congress MLA’s different views on CBI relation with Central Govt has hit the party office also. Whereas Birjit said, ‘CBI is fully under Central Govt & Modi is fraud’, another renowned Congress MLA Ratan Lal said in a separate press meet held at press club, ‘CBI independent organization & Modi’s father can’t push CBI’ !

‘Centre has full capacity to push CBI what is going on at West Bengal and Assam. In Congress Era CBI arrested the leaders, but released them after BJP came there.

However, the Rose Valley CBI inquiry was delayed also in Congress Era, as well as in BJP Era. On the other hand reacting over Ratan Lal Nath’s comments, TMC President Asish Saha told TIWN, whereas in whole India Congress is protesting against Rose Valley scam, Ratanlal is saying something else. Seems he is working either for BJP or CPI-M.

On the other hand Youth Congress has called for 24 hrs hunger strike seeking CBI inquiry against Rose Valley on Friday. Presently Trinamool and Congress asking for CBI inquiry against Rose Valley in Tripura and BJP/ CPI-M are saying there should not be any problem if CBI inquiry is held.
