AGARTALA, Jan 13 (TIWN): CBI’s Sarada, Rose-Valley Chit-Fund investigations and subsequent arrests of core Trinamool Ministers, MPs scared Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee to such extent that Trinamool went all out street war against India’s Prime Minister. Bengal Trimamool is screaming over MP Sudip Banerjee, Tapas Paul’s arrest but Tripura Trinamool leaders have erupted into various protests demanding CBI inquiry against Rose Valley Chit fund in Tripura. CPI-M State Secretary Bijan Dhar highlighted another angle to unfold Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee’s real intention to hoist various protests against Chit fund in Tripura. Talking to TIWN on Thursday evening, Bijan Dhar quipped, “Tripura Govt sent list of Chit fund groups to CBI, but CBI didn’t select Rose valley for investigation in Tripura. However, if something founds wrong and CBI comes Tripura to investigate, CPI-M will have no problem at all'.
'But people have to realize why Mamata Banerjee led Trinamool wants the arrest of CPI-M leaders here. Let Trinamool also has to accept the fact that what CBI has done at West Bengal by arresting TMC leaders, it was a correct decision. Moreover, if CBI did ‘injustice’ there, how can they do fair with Tripura ?’, says Dhar.
CPI-M State Secretary further pointed out that the public face which Trinamool lost at West Bengal is haunting the party as CPI-M can replace TMC in next Assembly election again.
Bijan Dhar indirectly also accused that to spread mud on her evergreen enemy CPI-M's faces, Mamata Banerjee is ‘using’ Tripura Trinamool Congress to restore her position in her own state.
"Rose Valley is an old issue and currently investigation is going on. CBI will come if necessary, what’s so new about it?”, Dhar said.
Sudip Banerjee was first called by CBI when he expressed doubt about CBI’s neutral activity at West Bengal. Rose Valley was the hottest issue in Tripura once upon a time during Congress’s leadership as the chief Opposition party here. In the middle volume of protest was decreased, but suddenly the flame of protest-rallies, demonstration has fired up further after the arrest of Sudip Banerjee at West Bengal.
Sudip Barman at Trinamool Party office also distributed one pamphlet which he wrote in Congress Era. But Dhar raised question, why after Sudip Banerjee’s arrest Trinamool woke up from slumber. However, Trinamool also alleged that CPI-M govt of Tripura sent a wrong report on Chit-fund to CBI, although at HC or SC no case was filed against it by the oppositions.
Indirectly Trinamool trying to say that CBI is biased by BJP led Central Govt and in political grudge they are doing all these. After Tapas Paul and Sudip Banerjee was arrested at West Bengal Trinamool supremo Banerjee reacted strongly to the news and attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
However, Bijan Dhar said that CBI inquiry is ‘good’, but TMC should also accept that fact that what CBI did at West Bengal was correct.
'TMC should stop politicizing the issue with CBI', said Bijan Dhar.
However, CPI-M's various leaders led by Gautam Das, Minister Bijita Nath to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar's various patronage in terms of subsidized lands, trade licenses, tax-free tenure helped Rose Valley kind of companies to loot over Rs 1500 crores public money from Tripura.
