AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): It is said that pictures talks and this picture was taken on Sunday at Radhanagar, when Gramin Bank was celebrating its 41st foundation day. Tripura Chief Minister in that programme held a long speech centering on ‘demonetization and public-suffering'. Sarkar said, “100 people died in this demonetization and everyday before banks people are dying standing in long queues”. But the petrol pump line at Radhanagar BOC, which he left behind was 10 times a longer line than any bank line. The bikers lines which didn’t come in notice of the Chief Minister, or it was knowingly ignored----- didn’t get any place in CM’s speech on that occasion. The petrol crisis is going on since 11 days, but none of his Ministers talk about that issue, although all are now a days talking about demonetization and its deadly affects. Manik Sarkar to express his anger against the so called “injustice” doing upon the common men also mentioned that he doesn’t see any TV channel where Modi is found giving long lectures, as 'all are fake'.

He is so frustrated that he after night 10 PM watch only action movies, where no time remains to think much.

But when he will think about LPG, Petrol crisis in state, low income of employees, massive unemployment ?

Apart from now, earlier also for long 2 moths, Tripura had undergone acute fuel crisis in during July-August month which created riot like situation in state. No state might have suffered so much from petrol crisis as Tripura suffered from fuel crisis, but that didn’t affect the Ministers much as their fuels are given much priority.

Many VIPs, foreign delegates observed the situation during their Tripura visit on that time. Tripura govt then had introduced the Odd-Even system in addition to the rationing of petrol and diesel due to extreme shortages. However, common people came on road on that time, burnt tires, blocked roads but then some unknown cadres were set before BOCs and forcefully those cadres stopped public’s mouths.

On BGB delegate during his visit in Agartala observed the long lines before petrol pumps. Then during a press meet he said, “Tripura people have given the highest example for patience in whole world. I’m surprised how in a disciplined manner they are taking petrol”.

On that time amidst rain, in waist level water also people waited with their bikes for a litre of petrol. Thus after the people passed in the exam of patience, now Tripura CPI-M politicians no more bother to look after the long lines also.
