AGARTALA, Dec 8 (TIWN): Miserable 'effects' and 'affects' of demonetization are visible everywhere in NE state Tripura even after crossing 1 month of Modi govt’s decision of demonetizing 500 rupees and 1000 rupees notes. In this one month the Country has seen many changes, up and downs of economy and most importantly the power of a Prime Minister was visualized, which has been proven once again that the Govt's decision are always more powerful than the local politics. The rush before ATMs and Banks are no doubt decreased now and the long lines before banks are no more, but an invisible crisis is there for small notes and there is huge blockade working before the incoming of big amounts from hand to hands.

But in this month, public have saved more than other months, which has proven that less expense and restriction on money transaction can save the pockets of the govt employees of India.

In Tripura rents, allowances, big shops  have been more affected, TIWN reported.

But the situation is coming towards normal with the new 100 rupees notes and once the cash-crisis will diminish then the transaction limitation will be withdrawn. This is really tough that a person can not take more than Rs. 2000/- but the Indian Govt said it will diminish soon, although one month has passed. But Jaitley’s prediction has proven right as the rush is no more at Agartala banks.

At Agartala mobile van ATM, which was inaugurated on Oct 6 has become well popular and long lines were also observed before it. But at Petrol pumps the small notes problem is going on as everyone is standing with Rs. 2000/ in hands and the workers at petrol pumps have nothing to do except showing angry faces to the bikers.

On the other hand politicians amidst cash-crisis wasting a lot in Anti-Modi propagation so that demonetization can be withdrawn.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the Narendra Modi government's demonetization move was a scam worth Rs 8 lakh crore, done to write off bad loans worth this amount.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav announced that his government will give Rs 2 lakh to the kin of each of those residents of the state who have died in queues outside bank branches and ATMs since the November 8 demonetization.

However, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley dared the Opposition to begin the debate over the demonetization, the issue which has rocked Parliament since the winter session began on November 16.

"The Opposition disrupts proceedings for one reason or the other. I challenge them to begin the debate if they have courage," Jaitley said in the Rajya Sabha.

It’s worthy to mention here that in a release late on Wednesday, the Union Finance Ministry said there has been a continuous fall in deposits in last couple of weeks, after an initial surge in deposits after the demonetization of high-value currency on November 8.

"Since the time the government has alerted people not to allow their accounts, particularly Jan Dhan accounts, to be used by others for the purpose of converting their black money, there has been a considerable decrease in the inflow of funds in Jan Dhan accounts," an official statement said.
