KAMALPUR, Oct 27 (TIWN): Adding to the dilemma of CPIM at Ambassa two former CPI-M leaders Bijoy Debbarma and Ajoy Baidya joined the TMC last evening along with some families of hard core CPI-M supporter families. TMC leader Sudip Barman welcomed them in the party.
Yesterday TMC arranged for a mass meet at Ambassa in the guise of so-called workers’ meet. In that meet TMC leaders Sudip Barman, Dibachandra Hrangkhal and others joined. During the meet, erstwhile CPI-M leader and expelled TPP leader Bijoy Debbarma joined TMC along with another prominent CPI-M leader Ajoy Baidya. They joined the party with several hundred families consisting of almost 1, 000 voters as they claimed. TMC leader Sudip Barman welcomed them in the party.
Both the new comers expressed their firm belief and gratitude to work in tandem in favour of the party. However, the common people of the locality expressed their doubts as how far would the new comers be beneficial for the party.
