KAMALPUR, Oct 21 (TIWN): The investigation conducted to unearth the real saga behind the source of black marketing of PDS goods seized on Tuesday last resulted into mysterious result.

The investigating authority failed to trace the source of the goods yet after 72 hours of the seizure. And many speculated that as the dealers got under table hot relation with the food department officials, hence the investigation would ultimately provide a big zero.

On Tuesday last, the police of Kamalpur seized three bag flour and one bag sugar from an auto at Manikbhnadar.  It was evident that, the goods were from any fair price shop.

However, police failed to arrest the driver. Accordingly, police informed the sub-divisional administration. At once SDM instructed DCM Amitav Chakma and SDC (Food) Kamalakanta Debbarma to look into the matter.

On the basis of primary investigation, they became clear that the goods were taken out from Kuchainala PACS situated at Nagbanshi market. Hence they put the PACS under lock and key.

Local people also disclosed that, in the morning they noticed an auto got loaded with four bags of materials from the PACS. In the evening, the SDC informed that, the goods were not from the Kuchainala PACS as the PACS everything correct in records.

But at the same time he failed to unearth from where the goods were taken for selling in the open market.

According to the commoners, the investigation would provide nothing but a big zero as the unscrupulous dealers had a strong under-table relation with the officials of food department.
