AGARTALA, Oct 17 (TIWN): Central Govt took initiatives to increase the train- speed and has already started to work on the double BG routes for Tripura railways, and other NE states. There are many projects in Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu’s planning for next budgets about the high speed trains as bullet train, mission rafter, the Talgo trails etc, but as he already declared that many things will happen with NE in coming days, but let the Northeast settle-down first, thus presently alternative route is giving the prime focus. Already with the connectivity flow gifted by Modi Govt. has cheered the public but many things left for more connectivity works. The survey on alternative Broad gauge lines to begin from this running month, which will increase the speed of train in coming days. Earlier BJP state president Biplab Deb said, after the Durga Puja the work on it will be started and thus with the puja ending high chances are there that some work evidences will be seen during this month. On last 11/ 8/ 2016 the decision to create alternative BG route’s in Tripura was taken. On that time it was said that the route via Kailashahar-Pecharthal-Dharmanar may help in increasing the speed.

The link will be from Pecahrthal-Kamalpur-Dharmanagar-Agartala-Udaipur-upto Belonia, he added.

In one-way the speed remains very slow, so without any delay when express trains are also coming in state, the work on it to be started.
