Agartala, May 23 (TIWN): Considering the recent order of High Court of Tripura cancelling jobs of 10,323 school teachers, the job aspirants who filed case along with the state government will also move in favor of terminated teachers in the Supreme Court to reinstate the jobs.

The state government from the very beginning remained in back foot regarding the job scam in the High Court. If the State government would have accepted the decision of single bench in 2012, they would have not faced such a huge problem.

The case moved to division bench due to the negligence of state government and the division bench ordered to cancel the appointment of 10,323 teachers. The state government has resolved to appeal to the SC and special leave petition would be submitted in the SC on behalf of state government within 1 to 2 days.

A division bench of the HC of Tripura comprising of Chief Justice Deepak Gupta and Justice SC Das cancelled 1,100 post-graduate, 4,617 graduate in 2010 and 4,606 under-graduate teachers and instructed the state government to conduct fresh recruitment process. All teachers, whose jobs were terminated by the HC order, would be signing out of the job by Dec 31, 2014. All these teachers would be replaced by teachers inducted through the new recruitment process, the Court observed.

Leader of trained Under Graduate unemployed youths Tanmoy Nath said they will be moving to Apex Court. They will request not to cancel the appointments. Such a decision on behalf of the unemployed job aspirants provided relief to the state government and terminated teachers to some extent.

Also Nath said that if the SC takes the case and if the unemployed job aspirants receive notice, they will definitely move for Delhi, place the issue of their deprivation and emphasize on their appointment for the job. Now, all eyes are on the decision of Apex Court.
