KAMALPUR, Sep 13 (TIWN): Within a span of 24 hours Ambassa got stirred by the political activities of the opposition parties. After the mass meeting of BJP on Sunday evening TMC launched their political propaganda last evening.

According to pre-scheduled announcement, TMC held a mass meeting at Ambassa yesterday in the evening. At this meeting TMC MLA Sudip Roy Barman and MLA Ashis Saha launched attack on the CPI-M led government of the state.

Further, the leaders blamed the government as anti-people and politically polarized. Both the leaders gave out a clarion call to act in tandem to end the long leftist misrule. 

In that meeting 200 supporters from CPI-M and Congress joined TMC. Among them were twice defeated Congress candidate of SURMA ASSEMBLY Constituency and Barman group’s blue eyed boy Sukharanjan Das, Ambassa Block Congress President Kiran Debbarma and others.

However, the joining of Sukharanjan Das sparked unrest among the TMC workers and leaders in the District as during his political career in Congress, Sukharanjan was nominated twice chiefly because his legacy to the Barman group.

And he declared himself as District TMC President even before joining the party after the green signal by his political god-father Sudip Barman. Hence, many expressed the view that, the future of TMC in this district might not be a happy one in near future.
