TELIAMURA, Aug 20 (TIWN): In a successive attempt, Tripura Forest Dept. has seized a huge numbers of woods worth Rs. 5 lakhs.
Around 500 trees were seized which were illegally taken for sell from Forest Dept. land.

Getting informed by secret sources Teliamura Forest Dept. officials  led by Khowai SDFO Pranjit Bhowmik held joint raid with the help of Kalyanpur Police.

Sources said that such illegal activities were continuing since last 5 / 6 years.

However, with the successive drive held by the Khowai administration the local people are happy.
