AGARTALA, Dec 6 (TIWN): With the Calcutta High Court securing 32,000 teachers' jobs, the 10,323 teachers' issue is back in Tripura. The Bengal government's success story in saving 32,000 teachers' jobs has prompted the 10,323 teachers of Tripura to recall their similar case, alleging that not all of them received court notices, and the termination of their jobs was unjustified.
These teachers have been demanding that their matter be looked into, citing the same grounds as the Calcutta High Court judgment, which stated that a few recruitment irregularities cannot punish all teachers.
The 10,323 teachers have always demanded that their case be looked into, alleging that the termination of their jobs was unjustified.
Tripura Opposition leader Jiten Chowdhury has requested the government to look into the issue with a humanitarian perspective, similar to the West Bengal government, and appeal to the Supreme Court to restore the 10,323 teachers' jobs.
Tripura BJP Govt before coming into power in 2018 assured the 10323 teachers to recruit them – if BJP is voted to power.
