AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): Amid nationwide ongoing Special Intensive Revisions (SIR), Tripura Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman warned the Block Level Officers as he anticipated implementation of SIR in Tripura too. “We do not have any problem if any dead or foreigner is excluded from the list but like other states where one voter voted hundreds, exclusion of legitimate voters happens — no stick-hit will fall on the ground. Also you have to lose your jobs,” said Barman while addressing a public gathering at 6 Agartala.
“Tripura is a small state. Everyone knows each other and so if you do such things, it won’t be tolerated,” he said. “Our Congress workers will keep their vigilance over the process.”
The Congress MLA appealed everyone to come forward to prevent any fraudulence in voter list curation.
