AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): BGB Regional Director Brigadier General Mohammad Habibul Karim’s one line comment at Salbagan BSF HQ was almost a slap on Manik Sarkar’s 23 years CPI-M rule in Tripura. Praising the people of Tripura for their endless patience with standing on long queues for petrol , Karim said, “People of Tripura are really disciplined and the world should learn a lesson how to keep patience in spite of enormous sufferings”. “Whereas people across the world are too much intolerant they should see how people are standing before petrol pumps in Agartala for hours”, he added. It was a shame for Tripura, where a neighboring county’s delegates become surprised to see the poor plight of Tripura people due to mismanagement, lack of advance planning by Manik Sarkar’s CPI-M Govt. Chief Minister Manik Sarkar during his two decades long-rule over Tripura has crippled states economy. People have no choice but to keep quiet under the continuous misery and apathy of State Govt.

That’s why may be, after decades of tortures only CPI-M’s  red flag waves at Tripura as people have surrendered their fate to worst governance.

Brigadier Genera Habibul Karim might said this in general, or may be he was mocking over the harassments done over the public here in the state. But his comment was praised by everyone, as today the petrol consumers lines crossed 2 kilometer area.

Tripura people have no choicees apart from “Patience”. They are so much familiar with less DA, No industry, No development, massive corruption etc.

Although Tripura is suffering from acute petrol crisis, but illegal smugglings are going smoothly via Sabroom border. State Tripura is facing fuel crisis, public suffering from high commodity price.

People across the state is blocking roads, in demand of 1 litre petrol and taking this opportunity, black marketers are smuggling petrol to Tripura’s mainland from Bangladesh, which is selling at Rs. 300/- per litre.

People however, are forced to buy the fuel at high price due to lameduck State’s Food & Civil supplies Department as no advance planning was made to handle crisis

Bangladesh delegation’s  ironical comment exposed the bare truth of daily sufferings under Manik Sarkar’s administration.
