AGARTALA, July 19 (TIWN): Amidst rain long queues observed before Petrol-Pumps across the state.
The fuel crisis since last 28 days has hit the common people of Tripura. Doesn’t matter rain or extreme heat, public are struggling everyday for petrol.
Whereas no petrol sign has hit Agartala City, there is respite from continuous black marketing of fuel.
Reportedly, at Motor-stand area, Durgabari petrol pump, common people are standing with their bikes for 1 liter petrol.
In other subdivisions also the situation is same.
In rain also, they don’t leave the space of the petrol-line. Petrol pump workers also working amdist thunder and rain.
Talking to Govt. official from North Tripura, he said, ‘Everyday 20-30 tankers entering in state’. But after entering of enough tankers, the reason behind petrol crisis is however unknown.
This unofficial blockade of fuel has forced illegal black markets to spring up around Tripura.
