AGARTALA, July 13 (TIWN): Tripura police is not missing any chance for applauding themselves after they have arrested Panna Ahmed on Tuesday from Karimganj district of Assam but now question arises how Panna reached Assam did and manage to take escape arrest for attest 3 weeks from the hand of police. Who was backing Panna? How did he arrange rent in an unknown place? What is his relation with the rent house owner Shefali Deb? How did he get source for rent house? Question prevails in the mind of people. However, form the scenario of Panna’s arrest it appears that it was pre planned story to arrest Panna for saving the good name of police in the state as pressures from the other political party to arrest Panna was worsening and police was in deep dilemma.

It seems like Panna was intentionally sent to Assam for enacting the scenario of arrest as after arresting Panna Tripura police would gain some good name and Panna will also get release on bail. History says that in almost all the cases of crime, corruption including Bimal Chakraborty, Susheel Chowdhuy all are today roaming free behind the bars even after committing such brutal crime and corruption in the state. 

 In these cases same way police arrested both these accused and filed charge sheet with minimal charges which are easily bail able.  Similar story will be repeated in case of Panna Ahmed.

Time will say what charge sheet police will file against Panna Ahmed.

It is to be mention here that as the police even failed to put up any appealing evidence against the prime accused sushil choudhury and was released from jail.

After carrying out in-depth investigation, Investigating Officer Manas Paul had submitted a 562-page charge sheet accusing Sushil Chowdhury for the gruesome incident before the Addl District and Sessions court.

However, failing to prove any allegation against the accused the court has released him from jail, same will be repeated in Panna Ahmed case and finally will be released from the jail.

However, it is to  be mentioned here that West SP Abhijit Saptarshi said that the accused Panna Ahmed was on the run since the complain was lodged against him but finally police succeeded in nabbing him from Karimganj Bazar Shivbari road where he was staying in a rented house of Shefali Deb.  Now question arises who is shefali Deb, who made arrangement of rental house for Panna?

However, Panna was arrested on the basis of secret information at 1pm from shivbari road and now he is under the jurisdiction of Karimganj police. West SP further said that he will handed over to Tripura police after the completion of the basic protocol and the accused will be brought to the state on Wednesday.
