AGARTALA, July 6 (TIWN): BJP on Wednesday paid tributes to Bharatiya Jan Sangh founder Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee on the occasion of his 115th birth anniversary and observed it as 'Prerna Divas'.
BJP President Biplab Deb, newly joined member Kalyani Roy were also present.
Biplab Deb said, ''We are fortunate to have been born in a country where we had leaders like Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.''
Shyama Prasad Mookerjee was an Indian politician, barrister and academician, who served as Minister for Industry and Supply in Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's cabinet.
