Amidst deprivation, TGEA observed 51st state conference at RS Bhawan

AGARTALA, May 29 (TIWN): On the one hand state government employees are largely deprived in terms of beneficiaries from the government yet they observed the 70th state conference under the banner of Tripura Government employees Association (TGEA) on Sunday in presence of MP Jiten Chowdhury.
The four daylong conferences are scheduled to be observed by all the delegates and members of TGEA at RS Bhawan. The conference is organised on the occasion of completion of 70 years of the TGEA.

The conference was inaugurated by MP Jiten Chowdhury along with others.  

34000 members, including 900 selected adherents are scheduled to participate in this conference.

On the first day of the program Mayor Dr. Prafullajit Sinha and MP Jiten chowdhury inaugurated the conference.

Regarding the observance of TGEA, they had organized various blood donation camps through all over the state. During the four days of convention the facts and figures related to blood donation will be declared.

An open conference will also conduct, where the Chief Minister Manik Sarkar will address the mass on June 1. 

It is to  be mentioned here that the same TGEA employees  earlier placed deputation to CM demanding to cancel the recommendation of the 7th pay commission against the interest of the employees and to implement it in the state along with its introduction by the centre, to give the pending DA, to provide one increment as training incentive, introduce hazard allowance for risky jobs, to create new vacancies and immediate recruitment in vacant posts, to set up districts and sub division treasury, to set up nursing college in the state, to provide reimbursement and total medical expense even in case of Group-D, pay scale on regular basis to fixed pay employees after 3 years of job instead of 5 years include them in LTC,GPF and Group insurance and medical imbursement opportunity if referred to other state for medical purpose, proper transportation for the employees of sports and youth Affairs adjacent to secretariat, Gorkhabasti office complex and Badarghat stadium, to regularize the home guards who are working since 20 to 30years on daily payment and to introduce pension for them.
