AGARTALA, May 23 (TIWN): With pressure from all the sections including political forums and students union, TBSE board president Prof. Mihir Deb on Monday accepted the mistake of the board and said that necessary steps are taken for the rectification of the results.

All the representatives of DSO, SFI, NSUI, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi parishad and BJP staged protest and also placed deputation to Board President Prof. Mihir Deb.

However, the protestors also demanded the resignation of the board president. 

Getting pressure from all the sides of the society the TBSE board president Prof. Mihir Deb accepts his mistakes, says necessary steps are taken for rectifying the results.

Just within few hours of the declaration of the TBSE HS (+2) on Saturday, the students received a major shock when the board declared the results invalid as the practical number of the subjects were not added in the results sheet. A total of 3319 candidates appeared in the examination from the science stream however, among them 2702 passed the examination.  Above all this time there are also changes in the results system. From this year the board has adopted a new pattern of announcing the results in the grade format.

However, under pressure from all the sections of the society the board president said that mistake is done but necessary steps are taken for rectifying the answer sheets.

Mark sheet for the recently declared results of TBSE HS (+2) students science stream  by the TBSE board which was finally termed as invalid and full of mistakes  will be available in the particular schools from Monday.

It is to be mentioned here that after getting the mark sheets in the hand the students can finally know about their actual results.
