AGARTALA, April 16 (TIWN) : Although college and Universities are meant for studies, but India has witnessed many colleges where politics in the name of Student’s Union has been dominating over the studies like JNU Delhi or Kolkata's Jadavpur University. Tripura’s MBB College campus, where academic environment already punctured by CPI-M's student wing SFI for over 2 decades,now set to bloom into full phased 'Political factory' to churn out leftist student leaders. So its no surprise when Chief Minister Manik Sarkar picked up another comrade Jadavpur University’s Professor Gautam Basu as Vice Chancellor of new University. Jadavpur University (JU) is known nationally for its student politics rather than academic excellence as CPI-M’s student wing SFI rules the campus. So, questions are being raised against the selection of VC and the possibilities of a replicaq of JU or JNU inside the MBB campus. Days are not far when Tripura’s state University will be emerging as a production base for CPI-M's political goons. Tripura CM and Melarmath always interested to make a State Govt. controlled University, so that it can be used as CPI-M's grooming center for student leaders like JNU Delhi.

Normal students devoid politics but it has been seen that the innocent students who do not want to be in any kind of political rally, are being forced to participate in rallies, organized by the SFI leaders.

College leaders although claim themselves as the well-wisher of Students, with the name of Student Federation of India(SFI), but everyone knows what are their ages. For example there are many including DYFI leaders like Amal Chakraborty (scamster Bimal Chakraborty's brother) who is much beyond their student ages in 50s.

One can see daily the MBB college gate, everyday around the lake sides, vagabond students are spotted with SFI flags and slogans for every petty issues, whether they would be in class at that time.

In the age of holding books and excelling in studies, students are preaching Manik Sarkar’s praise, which is welcoming a very bad Educational future for MBB students.

Often it’s claimed that if the new comer students (1^st year students) remain absent during a blood donation camp or any petty programmes, organized by CPI-M regime.

Tripura's left wing student union DYFI  supported JNU's anti-national activites, screamed a lot with posters, banners by skipping their classes,educational activities.

So in a nutshell, furture of MBB State University is dark under the rule of CPI-M Govt led by Manik Sarkar
