Tripura's 1st Flyover construction : Construction of grid between 39th and 40th pillar is under process

AGARTALA, April 15 (TIWN): Aiming to complete the construction work on time, flyover construction agency where continuing with work in full fledged manner, on the other hand, equipment left open on the road has posses danger for the passerby.

On the other hand, the construction agency is also facing tough time with the drilling work mainly from government press at Bardowali area to Nagerjala due to the land acquisition problem and alleged lack of communication from AMC regarding the under lying water pipes crossing the roads.

However, day by day the flyover construction is becoming trouble for the passerby and the locals residing at the construction site area.

Every day the passengers had to face worst trauma from Bordowali-Battala which is the important landmark in the city.

Though earlier also the people had to face problem due to lack of swift traffic movement but with the beginning of the flyover construction in the capital.

With the beginning of the construction work of the fly-over work at Battala, the issue of traffic congestions came into public eye with the massive traffic jam from Bardowali-Battala road, disrupting the convenient movement of traffic on the road during office and school hours.

However, the land acquisition issue at the Bardowali site due to the underground water pipe channels are creating problem for the construction agency.

However, this issue is creating problem for the construction agency for carrying out the work smoothly as the government has not yet made the underground setup of water supply clear.

It is to be mentioned here that of 68 pillars which would be set up in the entire stretch of the pillar from Dropgate to firebrigade chowmuhani where work for the 28 pillars is underway so far.

The construction of the first pier for most of the pillars is underway.

According to the sources report, the work is carried out 24 hours in a day without any break and around 300 labourers are engaged in the work. However, they are guided by about 50 to 52 efficient engineers.
