AGARTALA, April 5 (TIWN) : Preparation on the top as the Union Minister for Human Resource Development (Higher Education) Dr Ram Shankar Katheria arriving at here on Wednesday.

He is scheduled to inaugurate the newly constructed Golden Jubilee Knowledge Centre at NIT at 10.45 am and also  to inaugurate the building XI at Tripura University which was constructing since last 2 years. Reportedly, including examination section, many other departments to be started after the building will start.

Ram Shankar Katheria is a member of the 16th Lok Shabha of India. He represents the Agra Constituency of UP and is a member of the BJP political party.

 He is currently a Minister of State in the  Human Resource Development (Higher Education).

Before joining politics, he was a professor of Hindi at the Agra University where he has taught “Dalit Chetna” (Dalit upliftment) and wrote several books on the subject.

Students of Tripura University & NIT both are however very excited with the schedule of Minister’s arrival in their own University.
