AGARTALA, April 4 (TIWN): With the beginning of the rainy season whereas the farmers rejoice, on the other hand common mass in the capital faces misery with heavy water log and traffic jam.
With just moderate shower in the capital roads turn into water pool with knee level water creating huge problems for the vehicles to cross the road.
However, with the monsoon season hits the state it becomes trouble for the vehicle drivers to drive on the road.
On the other hand, with the flyover construction in progress it has become tough for the vehicle drivers as well as passengers to ride on road.
With the monsoon season hits the state huge traffic jam has been observed most of the time.
As people suffered in endless jams on many city roads, authorities were trying to control the situation.
It is to be mentioned here that from Bardowali to Battala, Motor stand to Math Chowmuhani huge traffic jam has been observed.
The situation turns awful from Bardowali to Battala during the office hour.
It is to be mentioned here that with every monsoon season hits the state, the roads of the capital goes under water as the water level of the drains rises. People have to face hard time to cross the roads through the drains water.
It becomes impossible for the people to come out of their house for their office or any kind of urgent work.
It is to be mentioned here that where the State Government claims about development in the State, people during the monsoon season suffers with the drain water.
However, the people returning home from offices during the evening rush-hours faces a harrowing time on the roads of Battala as their vehicles get stuck in jams that continued for long time.
Although the traffic congestion is not a recent issue but with beginning of the monsoon season the congestion have been getting serious.
