AGARTALA, Feb 26 (TIWN):Eyeing forward to completely sweep the ensuing VC election which is held on Feb 24, CM Manik Sarkar attended the mass gathering though out different Districts in support of his own party and delivered his speech in the mass gathering with the flags and festoons of the political parties.

Every year vote comes and goes political figures promises of bringing development and making the state a model state but the pricking truth is that what remains behind is the day long misery in the state. The slogans and the speeches come with new adjectives but never after the election is a single promise fulfilled.

Poor village people still lives from hand to mouth. Children of their families living in dark and lead a miserable life’s. They don’t have minimum health care, education as far as Manik’s model state is concern.

Election is Tripura has become a run to stay in power and looting public fund and not paying ears to the public misery.

Door to door campaign, political gatherings; everything is organized to woo the voters just ahead of election. Flags, festoons, banners, posters had fill the streets to woo the voters.

Crores of money is spent for this decoration and campaign and the political showed empty hand while providing service to the people of the state.

The bag full of public money is wasted in the name of election campaign.  It’s to be mentioned here that the political parties are wasting the ‘public money’ and ‘scam earned cash’ in the name of election campaign like water. To boast themselves as on the top of the hierarchy, all the parties were busy in holding campaigns to earn votes.

If the money would have been spent for a good cause, the political parties would have made their grip much stronger in the state. Apart from holding rallies with music system and flags and festoon if the party would have given some time to the development of the society the party would have gain good name.
