AGARTALA, Feb 25 (TIWN): Education is an essential part of life, whatever a person become in his or her life it is only because of education they gain in their school, stated Governor Tathagata Roy while addressing the 35th Anniversary of New Hindi Secondary School on Wednesday at Kunjaban.

Stressing over the need of the education, Governor Tathagata Roy stated that whatever is the situation the parents must try to send their children to the school to gain the basic education.

Besides, he also urged the school authorities to keep the school clean and to install sanitation so that the students can study in a clean and hygienic environment.

Concerning over the commencement of the mid-day meal in the school, Governor mentioned that in the year 2007, the mid-day meal scheme was started but closed. However, the concern department is going to take initiatives to re-start the mid-day meal soon.

He also asked the students present over there to study hard and to be a good person. He also said that the more the students will study hard, the more they will gains knowledge and will get opportunities to work in a better place.

ONGC Executive Director S. C. Soni also urged the students to study hard and to make good result and also asked the students to aim for 100 percent result. Besides, the students were asked to respects their teachers.

However, education is essential for every individual. Without education it is not easy for a person to grab a good opportunity and to stand on their feet. Education system are divided in to Pre-school, Primary, Secondary education, Higher education, college and university level.

The New Hindi Secondary School is an institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Provisional basis.
