70 houses narrowly escaped from damage after fire broke out at Kalyanpur

AGARTALA, Feb 5 (TIWN) : Tension gripped the residents of Kalyanpur after fire broke out at a household there. The incident initiated in the house of Dipak sarkar, S/O-Sridhar Sarkar on Friday morning.

Dipak Sarkar’s wife understood the matter when smoke caused by a fire that broke out inside the house  on Friday morning.

Getting alert the locals informed the fire brigade and the situation had taken under controlled.

Reportedly, that area is resident of around 70 families, which belongs to the block 3 under Kalyanpur.

But locals alleged that . Dipak Sarkar himself had put fire in his house due to his drunken condition. In the last night he arrived at home in drunken condition and beat his wife and children. As a result peace broke out at his home.

It was in the morning that after the frequent fights with his wife he set his home into fire.

However, no loss has been reported yet far.

Apart from the fire brigade the locals had taken a lead role to take a control over the situation.
