AGARTALA, Jan 19 (TIWN): Equipment for the construction of the flyover left open in the roads without any boundary poses danger for the passerby and the residents over there. It seems like lack of proper management and system in the movement facility in the capital created harassment for the daily passengers, alleged the locals. Every day the passengers had to face worst trauma from Bordowali-Battala which is the important landmark in the city. Though earlier also the people had to face problem due to lack of swift traffic movement but with the beginning of the flyover construction in the capital. With the beginning of the construction work of the fly-over work at Battala, the issue of traffic congestions came into public eye with the massive traffic jam from Bordowali-Battala road, disrupting the convenient movement of traffic on the road during office and school hours. Besides, the crane bought for the construction work of the flyover takes huge space on the road and creates problem in the smooth convenient. To ease the everyday traffic jam at Battala junction following the construction work of the fly-over, the traffic department has listed out three different routes which the civilian can use to avoid the daily traffic congestion. Yet no effect has been observed in the traffic convenient and the day by day the traffic movement has become headache for the passerby.

Besides, the road from Nagerjala to Battala has become congested resulting the parking of vehicles at the no parking zone on the roadside causing inconvenience to the smooth traffic movement, and more seriously to vulnerable pedestrians.

Widened portions of the roads got fully occupied due to clogging on either sides of the road, dumping of the construction material on the road side, has immensely disrupted the smooth movement of traffic at Battala.

Traffic movement simply crawled at the Battala as numbers of vehicles stranded for hours in the traffic jam.

Traffic came to a halt or crawled on some sections of Nagerjala road as jam has simply disrupted the regular movement of the traffics on the roads.

However, the road from Nagerjala to Battala has become an accident prone area, any time any kind of untoward incident can happen.

According to the locals, they are hoping that the construction work should get complete as soon as possible so that they get relief from the daily chaos.
