AGARATLA, Jan 17 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the ensuing village committee election, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee is set with the selection of the candidates.

Candidate selection is the process by which political parties decide who will be on the ballot paper as their recommended candidate. The way in which they make that choice is mainly determined by their own internal rules and procedures.

Besides, the committee is also holding meetings and protest in the major parts of the State.

It is to be mentioned here that raising voice against the rising corruption at the block level, Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee to stage 12-hour long strike in three districts on January 18 in three districts.

The district includes Unakoti, Dhalai and North District.

Besides, with an aim to strengthen the committee before the upcoming village election so that they can manage to grab seats several organizational meeting are being organized by the Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee.

During the meetings conducted earlier, the Pradesh Congress Committee decided few initiatives to be taken to strengthen the party and to gain much votes.

Besides, they have decided to raise protest against the corruption and to fight for the people’s right.

During the meeting, it has been mentioned that they will fight together against the ruling Government and will successfully remove the Left Rule from the state.

Besides, in every step they will raise protest against the Left Rule Government and its misrule in the state.

However, it has been stated that unless the grass root level workers are encouraged and enthused to work for the party, the organization cannot be made strong.

The main aim of the party should be the victory of the Congress party. The state government is dipped into corruption. The victory of Congress would surely be a lesson for the ruling party.
