CPI-M to declare candidates name for the VC election in next few days : Bijan Dhar

AGARTALA, Jan 16 (TIWN): Addressing the press meet on Saturday at state party office located at Melaremath, said that the party is gearing up with all the preparation for the village committee election. Keeping an eye on the village committee election, party secretary Bijan Dhar also said that the party will declare the name of the candidates in next few days.

Apart from speaking regarding the preparation for the village committee election, CPIM state party secretary Bijan Dhar criticised the decision of the congress scheduled to observe 12 hour strike in three different district of the state.

Speaking at the press meet, he also said that the strike called by the opposition party does not worth any value and is complete wastage of time. It is to be mentioned here that Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee to stage 12-hour long strike in three districts on January 18. PCC Committee is going to stage 12-hour long strike in three districts which include Unakoti, Dhalai and North District.

However, party secretary Bijan Dhar further denied charges slated against the party regarding attacking the BJP party office. He said that the charges slated against the CPI-M party is totally illicit and this trap of the BJP party and the ruling party does not have any hand behind attacking the BJP party office in the state.

CPI-M Party secretary Bijan Dhar on Saturday in a press meet has already declared the name for the upcoming bi-election to the prestigious Amarpur Assembly segment.

The party has geared up the village committee election and is all set to declare the name of the candidates for the election, without making any delay the party will declare the name if the candidates for the village committee election, said Dhar.
