AMB organizes State Conference

AGARTALA, Dec 19 (TIWN): With an aim of overall benefits of the common people, Amra Bangali on Saturday has organized a state conference at Cornel Choumuhani.

The conference has been organized after the organized has conducted a rally and walked all across the capital and assembled at cornel choumuhani.

It has been mentioned that to create small states or Nation should not be the aim but how can a state can be made self-sufficient and can be developed economically should be the aim.

Amra Bangali is a Bengali political party in India. The party was founded by philosopher Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar. AMB is involved in various movements and protests including those against the Gorkhaland Nepalese calling for the creation of new state of Gorkhaland.

Besides, it has also staged protested to stop corruption and price hike, to stop crimes against women.

The party is organized in West Bengal, as well as in other states with large Bengali populations such as Tripura, Bihar, Odisha, Assam and Jharkhand.

However, the only real political breakthrough the party has had was in Tripura during the 1980s, when the party entered the Legislative Assembly in connection with the mounting ethnic tensions in the state.

During the programme, Secretary of Amra Bangali Hari Gopal Debnath and others were present.
