AGARTALA, Dec 16 (TIWN): Demanding to provide keen eye over various sensitize issue of Tripura State Jamiat Ulma (Hind), 12 charter points of demand has been place before Chief Minister Manik Sarkar on Wednesday.
The organization demanded to allow to construct boundary in the surrounding of Masjid, Id-gaa, as due to the absence of the boundary from the Government day by day the land of the masjids are being occupied illegally.
For saving the land in various area no fund has been provided by the waqf board. Therefore the organization demanded for fund to save the areas. In various unused land masjid has been constructed, prayers are also conducted but till day allotment has not been received.
So the organization demanded to provide allotment.
Jamiat Ulema-I-Hind was founded in 1919 by Sheikh ul Hind Maulana Mehmood Hasan, Maulana Syed Hussain Ahmad Madani, Maulana Ahmed Saeed Dehlvi, Mufti Kifayatullah Dehlavi, Mufti Muhammad Naeem Ludhianvi, Maulana Ahmad Ali Lahori, Maulana Bashir Ahmad Bhatta, Maulana Syed Gul Badsha, Maulana Hifzur Rehman Seoharvi and Maulana Abdul Bari Firangi Mehli. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind strongly opposed the creation of a separate Muslim state of Pakistan.
Besides, to cancel the Wakf properties identified as government khas land.
During the programme, President of Tripura State Jamiat Ulma (Hind) Mufti Taibur Rahman, Secretary Shiraj Choudhury, Vice-President Barik Choudhury, Mohammad Nurul Islam, Malumia and others were present.
