IPFT holds press meet, reiterates the slogans of separate state

AGARTALA, Dec 14 (TIWN): Pressing much higher for separate Twipra land, The Indigenous Peoples Front of Tripura (IPFT), a tribal based party in Tripura, to observe 12 hour hill bandh on December 16 with 3 charters point of demands, said party president Narendra Chandra Debbarma in a press meet at Press club on Monday.

The party is also scheduled to hold several agitations to achieve ‘Twipra-land’ with areas under tribal autonomous district council to protect the rights and identity of Tripura’s tribal population.

With three charter of demands, including the demand for separate state, no more allocation of land to the non tribal’s in the ADC area along with a total of a three charter of demands the  IPFT has called for 12 hour hill bandh on December 16.

IPFT has called the 12 hour strike in ADC area in demand of separate states.

Addressing the press meet, IPFT president NC Debbarma once again reiterated the same thing that they are not pushing for any irrelevant or unconstitutional demand; and the demand for the separate state is lawful.

Demanding for a separate tribal land by the name of 'Twipra Land', the People's Front of Twipra (IPTF) has scheduled to stage a 12-hour 'Hill Bandh' on December 16.

Addressing in a press conference, IPFT president Narendra Debbarma said the 'Hill Bandh' for welve hours has been called in order to press the demand for a separate 'Twipraland' state. However, the strike will be witnessed on all the ADC Areas.

The strike will not only observe in Tripura but also in Kukiland, Dimaraji and Bodoland on the same day for constituting separate states under the sponsorship of National Federation for New States.

However, IPFT president NC Debbarma, Rajeshwar Debbarma, Ananta Debbarma, Buddha Debbarma , Sapna Raniu Debbarma along with other dignitaries remained present in the press meet.
