AGARTALA, Nov 30 (TIWN): When only Rs 10,000 is set as the benchmark per candidate for the election expense it is seen that the political parties are spending lakhs of money to organise a single election campaign, now question arises from where is the parties like CPI-M is getting such huge money to organise such lavish campaigns in the state ? Talking to TIWN correspondent Election commissioner G.K.Rao said that only an amount of Rs 10, 000 is allowed per candidate but the party campaigns shows that lakhs of rupees are spent for organizing such huge campaigns. On the one hand Chief Minister Manik Sarkar claimed that the Left Front is a poor people government then from where is Manik’s government getting such bag full of money to organize such campaigns? Only to brainwash the mind of people ahead of election and woo the people for votes in favour of left front, Manik Sarkar himself is attending rallies to woo the voters.

Eyeing forward to strengthen their base for the upcoming assembly 2018, CM Manik Sarkar has started preparation to clearly sweep victory in full swing.

As ruling party, CPI-M is in a race to use all ill gotten cash from multiple chit fund scams to central funds MGNREA, RMSA, NHM corruptions. Left Front has bag full of black money which is being turned white in the name of election campaign.

The ‘poorest’ CM of Tripura claims to have less funds, as central govt. do not provide enough funds for the development of the state, but question arise from where does Manik and his force gets money to organise such big budgets rallies across the state ahead of election. Whose money is these? Question remains.

It is to be mentioned here, that the mass gatherings which are organised ahead of election is the process to turn their black money into white.

In one hand Manik claims his party as 'poor' CM and his aides lavish lifestyles speaks otherwise and the big budget rallies also raises question. However, it’s to be mentioned here that CPI-M is wasting the ‘public money’ and ‘scam earned cash’ in the name of election campaign like water. CPI-M party keeping in mind of upcoming 2018 assembly election and survival as Indian Communists last baston in tiny Tripura, party has started preparation for clear victory in full swing.

To boast themselves as on the top of the hierarchy, CPI-M is busy to arrange hi-funda programmes. It is also another measure to show how strong the grip of left front in the state is.

But before the election everyday many programmes are being organized here and there. Stages to flower-decoration, and other arrangements surely cost a lot, and few amounts are surely swallowed by the party members.

All the political parties including Left front, Congress, BJP everyone is busy in holding election campaigns which cost huge. Flags, festoons, banner, posters comes along with huge expenditure in designing for the election campign now question arise from where are the parties getting money if  Rs 10,000 is the limit. ?

If Election Commission does proper monitoring and audit the expenses of candidates, most of the candidates will cross well over Rs 10,000 ceiling.
