SABROOM / AGARTALA, Oct 1 (TIWN): On the 4th hearing at Sabrooom CJM court, against the ghastly incident on all India trade union strike, where 4 CPI-M cadres attacked on Sabroom court Magistrate Saurabh Saha; CJM court Judge Ashit Debnath sent 3 accused to 5 days Judicial Custody. In total against four persons FIR had been lodged namely Abhijit Dey, Abhik Basak, Bijay Dey, Biswajit Dey. But one Abhijit Dey managed bail order after few days of his arrest.

But in the 4rth hearing on Wednesday evening, court rejected the bail appeal of 3 of the accused, confirmed Sabroom SP Bhanupada Chakraborty on Wednesday.

It’s to be mentioned that on September 2nd, CPI-M backed parties called for a 24 hour’s strike. When Sabroom Court Magistrate Saurabh Saha was on the way to court he was verbally attacked by the CPI-M leaders. But after a while Magistrate entered the court along with his 2 more officials and the police escorted him to the office. But when Saha was doing his official work, the CPI-M goons thronged into the office and attacked on him.As a result FIRs had been lodged against 4 accused with Sabroom Police Station.

But police at the beginning was unwilling to arrest the culprits till Sept 5. Then it was on September 5 that High Court Chief Justice Deepak Gupta visited Sabroom Court, and took a note of the incident and on that very day all the culprits were arrested.

However, following the arrests, the first hearing was held on September 2nd, wheras the second hearing was on September 11, 3rd on September 24 and 4rth on Wedenesday. However, cadres earlier appealed for their bail orders, but CJM court of Sabroom rejected their bail appeals one after one.  But surprisingly, after the hearing on September 11, one of the cadre Abhijit Basak managed his bail order on September 19 on tshowing the cause of his wife’s illness and since 11 days he is enjoying his bail order.

The next hearing will be held on Sep 5, when the culprits will be aggain produced before the court said SP Bhanupada Chakraborty.
