AGARTALA, August 30 (TIWN): NE state Tripura day by day is becoming more unsafe for women and girls, and as well as minor girls, which once again has been came in notice with an incident took place at Budhjungnagar area, where 3 minor girls found missing from Friday evening. The name of the victims are Sushmita Bhowmik, Kabita Bhowmik and Moushumi Kar. However police could not reach out the culpits yet.
The matter came to notice when Laxman Bhowmik informed the police about his daughters’ missing. It’s to be mentioned two of the victims Sushmita Bhowmik and Kabita Bhowmik are sisters. They went to SBI at Banikya Chowmuhani brach to collect stipend on Friday evening, but did not return back to home. Getting concerned, the family members of these 3 girls started to seach them here and there, but getting no clue they informed the police.
But till now these girls are missing and police is yet to catcht the culpits.
However it’s to be mentioned that in a recent press meet organized by opposition congress, it had been disclosed that state is suffering badly due to crimes, especially on women. Already 378 missing diaries have been lodged in various police stations of Tripura.
Cong. spokeman Dr. Ashok Sinha accused Tripura police with crime statistics and said “police acting under the direction of the ruling party”. Talking to TIWN, State Cong. leader Birajit Sinha over phone aid that in past 30 months 563 rape cases have been registered in the state, out of which only 21 cases have been solved.Collecting further data, Sinha mentioned that in the running year(2015) 183 rape incidents had been occurred in state.
However State Govt. should take immediate action against the increasing crimes especially its rising tolls on women and minor girls.
