He further mentioned that “Many states like Haryana, Himachal, Rajastan, Madhyapradesh, Gujrat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Tamilnadu etc. have already appointed teachers under SSA on regular basis. Same is the instruction in case of teachers under RMSA, where MHRD, govt. of India gave clear cut instructions that teachers under RMSA shall be appointed by State / UT Education dept. on regular basis.

“SSA and RMSA Association already met HRD Minister of sSate Upendra Kushwaha, who informed that they never ask state or UT’s to appoint teachers under SSA on contract basis under state SSA society, rather it was instructed to appoint teachers on regular pay cales and service condition in Education dept”, Arvind Rana told media while addressing the press meet. But surprisingly few of the states have well-maintained the tradition of half-payment to its employees, he added.

“MHRD gave clear written instruction to states in 2002 to appoint teachers under SSA on regular basis in Education dept., which was followed by maximum states but due to unknown reason this instruction was not followed in Tripura”, Rana claimed.

However, they pledged to strive for completion of common goals of merging all SSA and RMSA Teachers in State Education Dept. on regular basis as per mandatory norms of SSA, RMSA and Right to Education Act 2009.
