KAMALPUR, August 7 (TIWN): Police succeeded to nab the culprits of sensational Gandheswari Bhander theft case occurred almost ten days ago as the thieves got trapped in effort to pocket money by selling stolen materials. Police got success as the local businessmen extended their co-operation to the police.
According to the police, this morning a local businessman of Apanjan Chowmuhani namely Sukanata Ghosh got informed that some youths eagerly searching customers for selling flake cigarettes. Sukanta at once informed the proprietor of the Gandheswari Bhander and police.
According to the plan, Sukanta along with police personnel reached Halhali market and nabbed the two youths namely Sanju Namasudra (13) a student of Kamalpur Govt. Class XII School and residence of Hostel and Sujit Namasudra (17) both resident of Mechuria. Later on their confession police also nabbed another youth of Mechuria namely Karna Debbarma (21). The incident occurred at around 4-30 pm.
Police also seized the stolen amounts from the arrested.
