However, NLFT is going through a time of crisis. The organization is also hit with food crisis and the chairman is turning failure to hold up his organization.

All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) Chief Ranjit Debbarma is in jail and NLFT chairman Biswamohan Debbarma is also keen to surrender in the coming days as NLFT is losing its grasp in the state

The banned militant outfit National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) would hold a peace talk with the central and the Tripura governments.

Highly placed sources confirmed that the terrorist organization doesn’t help the NLFT anymore.

The National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) was formed on March 12, 1989, with Dhananjoy Reang (former Vice-President of the Tripura National Volunteers) as its ‘chairman’. Reang after being ‘expelled’ from the NLFT in 1993 formed a separate outfit, the Tripura Resurrection Army (TRA), but surrendered in the year 1997. After Reang’s removal, Nayanbasi Jamatiya became leader of the outfit and later Biswamohan Debbarma took over.
