UDAIPUR, August 3 (TIWN): Resentment brewed up when a child of 14 years of age went missing from Udaipur Khilpara orphanage area when he went missing from his way towards his school.
The minor is identified as Sunny Barman son of Rakesh Barman resident of Bhattapukur Agartala area.
It is to be mention here that the child lost his parents in an accident and with the help of Child line welfare committee the child was brought to Rashtriya Anath Balak Asram in the year 2012 on 25th July.
Since last many years the child was staying at the orphan house and was studying in a school at Udaipur in Class 6.
Reportedly, on Saturday morning Sunny went to his school and dint come back to orphanage.
By the evening everyone in the orphanage came to know about the fact that the child went missing from the orphanage. Getting alarm the authority started searching for the child. By late in the evening no one could recover where Sunny was.
Failing to get any trace of Sunny, the in-charge of the orphanage Daniel Jamatia lodged a complaint with the RKPur police station.
However, police is suspecting that child has been kidnapped and police us further investigating the case.
It is to be mentioned here that the incident has triggered a huge resentment among the localites, while the negligence role of the orphanage authorities has come under the limelight.
