UDAIPUR, June 29 (TIWN): After feeding the money to the tenders, in the name of development of Old Royal Palace, the state govt. is failed to save this heritage of Tripura.
It’s to be mentioned that in the year 2015, after doing lots of investments in the name of making “resting places”; the condition of Old Royal Palace at Udaipur, turned back to the previous condition. Within 6 months, 1 of the newly constructed place has been broken up and another 2 are in deplorable condition.
It is said that the architect from Kolkata had come to make these resting places. So if it’s done such architects then, it is for sure that the materials which had been used in that construction were very cheap.
And of course, finishing government’s works by local tenders, who use cheap materials, have become a common business in the state. This tendency has met the historical places too.
It’s to be mentioned that the negligence role of the Tourism Dept. has successfully turned the tourists’ eyes “Not” to come in the state by wasting their money.
In any fault done by the state govt., the ruling party here blames the central govt. for doing injustice with this North Eastern State Tripura. But how the Govt. will reply in the question, if it is asked: how the central govt. would take care of the historical place of Tripura if the Tourism Dept.of Tripura has no time to look after them?
