KHOWAI, June 27 (TIWN): G.S.G. Ayyangar, Principal Secretary (Dept. of Agriculture, RD(Excluding Panchayat), Finance) visited Khowai Dist. as a part of the Jilla tour on June 27 at 1.00 Pm. Alongwith the Principal secretary Director of Horticulture also visited to make records of the present condition especially in Agriculture and Horticulture.

G.S.G. Ayyangar met 70 farmers at Khirodnagar ADC village under Khowai Padmabil. During the meeting, the farmers raised their demands for proper water supplying process for which they are facing many problems in their agricultural process. After receiving the complaints from farmers G.S.G. Ayyangar asked Horticulture Dept.’s SA Chandan Debbarma to slove the farmers’ problem as soon as possible.

The next visit was done by Ayyangar was at West Rajnagar’s ADC villages. There he observed the irrigations projects and how their conditions are. It is to be mentioned that Ayyangar conveyed his satisfaction on the smooth running of irrigations projects over there.

Now it’s to be seen when the irrigation process of Khirodnagar ADC village would end, for which Ayyangar has been directly plead by the farmers.
