AGARTALA, April 27 (TIWN): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national President Amit Shah on Monday said that the party here plans to uproot the Left Front from its last bastion Tripura by the year 2018. “The people of the state have to vow to remove Communist from power by the time the election comes in 2018," he said. Shah was delivering his speech on Monday at Agartala Vivekananda Maidan ground amidst huge crowds and the BJP supporters.Shah stressed for making the Northeast a Congress-free zone, whereas the Tripura for a Left free state. Adding to that he said that until the BJP comes in power here in Tripura, people of the state would not see any development. Shah said corruption would absolutely not be tolerated by the Modi government and stressed upon the need to root out corruption from governance. The BJP government has ended the "reign of scams seen during the 10-year UPA rule.There is not a whiff of scam now," he observed. Later coming down heavily on the Left rule here in Tripura Shah said, “Communist party, despite being in power for so long here in Tripura, had failed to develop the State.” He said, “People of Tripura should know that Communists are not for the development of our nation, neither for the farmers or the working class people," he added.”

Shah also slammed the then Congress led UPA-II govt. at the centre said, “The 10 years stint in power of the congress has brought no development to the nation rather has brought a scam of Rs. 12 lakhs crore.”

BJP Chief Amit Shah also said, “It is the BJP govt. at the center now that has constituted Special Investigation Team (SIT) to root out black money business from the nation.” Adding to that Shah said, “The BJP govt. has been working hard enough to bring down the price hike problems from the nation.”

He said, “The BJP govt. is also working to provide the facilities of bank accounts and insurance to 14 lakhs people at the nation by 11 months.”

He also said, “Modi-Govt.’s policy to bring a development to the North eastern region.” Adding to that Shah pitched the people of the state to make Tripura a Left free state. He said, “The left front govt. in Tripura has brought no development to the state rather than corruption, scams and deprivation for the common mass.”

Riding over the 10-month performance of Narendra Modi government at the Centre and armed with swelling members, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah on Friday asserted that the party will rule the country for the next 20 years.
