AGARTALA, April 25 (TIWN): Adding panic to the already depleted only Left ruled government of the country, BJP President Amit Shah is all set to draw the roadmap for throwing out the corruption ridden Manik Sarkar’s government here on Monday with his maiden journey to the state as the President of the rightist party. The BJP President will address the party workers at the Swami Vivekananda Stadium on April 27 as part of the BJP’s nationwide movement for making the country the most populous party of the world. Reeling under pressures from all sections of the people, the CPI-M think tanks are taking the rally as a serious affair and has instructed its cadres to take stalk of the situation and to estimate the impact of the highly talked about rally of BJP. When the party is going through one of the shaking phase in the recent times owing to issues ranging from sky rocketing corruption, erosion in the party’s support base in the hill areas, strict terms and conditions in spending central money in the state, the REGA unrest throughout the state, the party is finding it difficult to keep its nerves cool. The fact that the ruling CPI-M leaders are attacking the BJP more than any other party in its various election rallies only points at the party’s panic ridden assessment of the future in the state. It may be mentioned here that the ruling left front government led by Manik Sarkar is much worried at the recent developments in his “Golden Age” and taking no chance to stop the evasion by any new political force in his paradise.

Though the party is yet to make any significant inroad in the left ruled state, the recent popularity of the party especially after Modi’s rising as the Prime Minister of the country has made the party ambitious about its chances in the state.

Also fact that the rightist BJP considers the left parties as its enemy number one is well known to the CPI(M) top brass of the state and the party is biting its nail on the outcome of the rally.

Many top leaders of the opposition Congress and the ruling CPI(M) are on the verge of joining the BJP in the proposed rally and the process will just make Manik Sarkar and company more worried, claims political pundits here.

Though BJP has made some progress in building the party’s support base in the hills recently, the party is yet to make any noticeable impact among the main land voters of the state. The maiden rally by the party president will definitely determine the party’s future course of action in the state with a view to dismantle the corruption ridden Manik Sarkar Govt. thinks the analysts here.

All the speculations about the rally will be answered on Monday  after the highly talked about rally but only time will say how the BJP president will bring about the much needed transformation of the low profile party in the state and to organise the party to be recognised as a party to reckon with in the left’s citadel.
