TTAADC election: Two bullet riddled bodies found at Amarpur: Tension prevails among locals

AMARPUR, April 20 (TIWN): Just ahead of Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections which will be held on May 3.Two bullet ridden bodies were found in Duloma ADC village Rabi Rai Para under Birgang Police Station on Saturday midnight.

The bodies were identified as Himali Reang (20) daughter of Haranjoy Reang and Ramsadhu Reang (35) son of Baluram Reang both were residents of Duloma ADC village Rabi Rai Para.

Both the deceased were found missing from April 16th and they were also close relatives.

On Sunday morning Baluram Reang father of Ramsadhu Reang (35) heard a gun fire from a nearby jungle. He immediately rushed to the spot along with the locals and found Himali Reang and Ramsadhu Reang spot dead.

After getting the information police personnel from Birgang police station rushed to the spot and started investigation. During investigation police found a country made pistol.

According to police, the reason of the death of both the deceased is yet to be found. “We are investigating the case and we are trying our level best to solve the case”, said a police officer.

On the other hand tension is prevailing among the local people of the area regarding the incident, as the Tripura Tribal Area Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections is knocking at door.
