21st CPI (M) State Conference ends by adopting 3 slogans to improve party skills: Bijan Dhar

Agartala, February 28 (TIWN): The 21st State Conference of the CPIM ended with the trust on Bijan Dhar to continue as State Secretary. However, this 21st Conference adopted 3 slogans which is necessary for the party members to work for the benefit of the people. On Saturday, at the Party’s headquarter, newly appointed General Secretary, Bijan Dhar briefed the media.

While briefing the media, Mr. Dhar told that the 3 slogans adopted in the Conference were ,

1. "Come closer the people, listen to their words and behave properly with them"

2. To protect the welfare of the people continue the long term movement.

3. The members of the party should be indulge in active participation, which will develop the skill of the party.

Besides these, 7 set of delegations were also adopted in the Conference. These are:

a. To continue protest against separate State.

b. To stop crime on women, domestic violence

c. Protest adopted against the things harmful for the people.

d. Step- motherly attitude in MGNREGA

e. Measures against the killing of democracy in West Bengal

f. To cast vote in favour of CPI (M) in TTAADC election.

Other than that a State Control Commission was formed with Jyotish Saha as Chairman,. Other members of the Commission are Rupa Ganguly, and Salil Debbarma.

After that Party’s Spokesperson, Goutam Das, gave a detailed sketch of the newly appointed State Committee. 80 members are elected in this committee.  13 members reviewers team consist of Bijan Dhar, Manik Sarkar, Khagen Das, Badal Choudhury, Narayan Rupini, Aghore Debbarma, Tapan Chakraborty, Goutam Das, Niranjan Debbarma, Bajubang Reang, Manik Dey, Narayan Kar and Rama Das. As member Anil Sarkar passes away few days ago, so instead of 14 members team there are 13 members.

However, a 37 members delegation team will also be sent to the 21st Party Congress to be held on April 14-19th.
