Tipra Motha party’s youth wing who organized a press meet in Agartala told the media if other local body elections including Municipality polls can be held, why not the village council polls?

It’s now 4.5 years that the village council election has been delayed, dismantling the panchayat system in the ADC.

The party also said, it’s not happy over the role of the Govt of India regarding the implementation of the deal that was signed between the Govt and the Tipra Motha and if it’s not done in time, the party might withdraw support from the government.
