SABROOM, June 30 (TIWN): Young man Debabrata Debnath died after being electrocuted in his own home.

Debabrata along with his friends returned home after celebrating India’s I-20 victory. As it was raining, he was slightly wet.

While scrolling his phone Debabrata leaned to the freeze which was electrocuted already. After he was hit by electricity, his friend who tried to save him, also received the power jolt and was minorly injured.

Debabrata was rushed to hospital but the doctor declared him dead.

The incident occurred due to negligence of the family who did not replace the freeze and allowed it to function amid knowing risks. Debabrata’s father accepted that the freeze was undergoing some technical faults and he was about to repair it.
