AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): A BJP youth leader Ranbir Saha was attacked, and his shop was vandalized by BJP workers in Melaghar. The victim sought justice from CM Manik Saha saying, “I want justice. I have been in BJP since 2014 and invested 10 years of dedication to the party. If I don’t get justice, I will think that my decision to be in BJP was wrong and my time was wasted”. The incident took place in Thakurpara of Melaghar on Tuesday. Talking to media, Ranbir says, “I am BJP spokesperson of Sepahijala District. My wife is the General Secretary of BJP Mohila Morcha in Sepahijala District. Today various BJP leaders and members of the District and booth workers of the locality have attacked me and damaged my shop”.
Ranbir Saha took the names of Sanjoy Pal, Ganesh Das, Sudip Datta behind the incident.
“They started vandalizing my shop’s signboard. A person was recording the incident because earlier also they did the same but later they refused the incident. They attacked that person who was holding the camera also and when I started recording they attacked me”, said Saha.
“My shop is destroyed, all cash was looted, even the God’s pictures were damaged. They are involved in various illegal activities. I want justice. What wrong did I do? I want CM to interfere in the matter”, he added.
